MIL-STD-810 is the military standard for environmental test methods for aerospace and ground equipment. The scope of the standard establishes uniform methods for environmental tests for determining the resistance of aerospace and ground equipment to the deleterious effects of natural and induced environments peculiar to military operations. MIL-STD-810 also establishes chamber test methods that simulate the effects of environments on the equipment rather than replicating the environment.
